OVERVIEW
Noise-induced hearing loss (DC 6100) is rated based on puretone audiometry and speech discrimination scores using Table VI and VII. Military noise exposure is well-documented by MOS. Most hearing loss claims are granted based on in-service noise exposure alone.
RATING CRITERIA (2 LEVELS)
30% -- Dizziness and staggering
Peripheral vestibular disorder with dizziness and staggering.
10% -- Occasional dizziness
Occasional dizziness.
