Section II - Work-Study Position

Describe the VA-related work: (1) Assisting veterans at VA regional offices, (2) Assisting with VA outreach or claims work, (3) Helping at campus veterans service offices, (4) Assisting at state veterans agencies, (5) VA national cemeteries, (6) VA medical facilities. Include the name and contact of your supervisor, work location, and your available hours.
e.g., Veterans Services Representative at ASU Veterans Services Office, Supervisor: John Smith; 15 hours/week, Mon-Wed-Fri.
Common mistakes
- ×Choosing a position that is not in the approved VA work-study categories - check with your school or VA regional office.
- ×Expecting your regular part-time job to count as work-study - work-study must be VA-related service.
