The Marine 0341 Mortarman operates 60mm and 81mm mortar systems in infantry battalion weapons companies. Same blast, noise, and physical demands as Army 11C but in Marine expeditionary context with additional amphibious operations. Marines carry everything themselves — no dedicated transport vehicles in many scenarios.

TYPICAL RATING CONSTELLATION
An 0341 with combat deployment commonly has: tinnitus (10%), hearing loss (10%), PTSD (50-70%), lumbar spine (20-40%), bilateral knee (10% each), shoulder (10-20%). Combined: 80-90%.
KEY CLAIM TIP
Same as Army 11C — document fire mission tempo. Marine mortarmen often have additional amphibious training injuries (heavy surf landings, ship-to-shore with full load). Document these in your personal statement.
